I love teaching at La Mirada High School. The campus is awesome with its sprawling grounds, neighboring parks and golf courses, several trees and beautiful shrubs, singing birds and butterflies welcoming me every morning!

Three years of science is required to graduate high school.
Freshmen - Physics in the Universe
Sophomores - Chemistry of the Earth Systems
Juniors - Living Earth (Biology)
Discovery Education online TECHBOOK will be the only textbook for Physics in the Universe. SEPUP curriculum with Lab-aids is the only ONLINE curriculum for Living Earth. No physical textbook will be checked out of the library. A class set will be used for guidance when in session. Additional online lab simulations and demonstrations will be used to support distance learning. All assignments are posted on Schoology. Parents and students can communicate via message on Schoology.
Students are expected to take care of their device, Chromebooks, with utmost care. Digital citizenship lessons help students with online safety and boundaries.
I am passionate about teaching science and it has been a great journey this far!
