Volunteer Service Program

 

For students to qualify for the Volunteer Service Award, students must earn 150 Volunteer Service Hours.  Students who meet this criteria will be awarded a White Volunteer Service Award Sash to be worn at graduation.  Volunteer hours include service to benefit the school community and the greater community. (This does not include band, color guard, VAPA performances or athletics  at school or district events. Volunteer performances at community centers, athletic camps, etc. may be included.) 

  • Volunteer hours may not be earned during school hours/school days.
  • Volunteer hours may not include donation of items.
  • Hours earned after the last day of a school year may be submitted with the next school year’s volunteer hours.
  • If non-school hours are earned, a business card or letterhead must be attached to the Volunteer Service Hours form.

 

Due Dates for Volunteer Worksheets:

9th , 10th, 11th Grades:  Due by May 15th of each school year

12th Grade: Due March 1st of Graduation year
