La Mirada High School Hires Lucas Mealy as New Varsity Head Football Coach 

La Mirada, CA - La Mirada High School is pleased to announce the appointment of Lucas Mealy as the new Varsity Head Football Coach. Mealy, who most recently served as the Offensive Coordinator at Orange High School, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the La Mirada Matadores. 

Mealy has an impressive coaching background with a strong track record of success at St. John Bosco and Orange High School. His offensive strategies and coaching methods have led to numerous victories for his teams. Mealy has also demonstrated a commitment to developing his players both on and off the field, fostering a positive team culture that promotes academic success and character development. 

Athletic Director Christine Mead expressed her excitement about the hiring of Mealy, commenting, "We are thrilled to have Lucas join our coaching staff. His passion for football, commitment to player development, and coaching experience make him an excellent fit for La Mirada High School." 

Mealy expressed his enthusiasm for the opportunity to lead the Matadores, stating, "La Mirada is such a great community and I am thrilled to be part of this winning program."
